2/2/2005: Alex is 2 1/2 now and if there is one word to describe him, it is gusto, Alex loves to eat, especially breakfast and it warms our hearts to see him eat SO MUCH! He always wants a BIG cup of milk.
Alex also loves to to be read to and every night, before bed we read him a few books. Just as we get to the last page, he always says "One More Book!" He loves Curious George, Babar, Clifford, and the Richard Scarry books that were mine when I was a child. We are having a difficult time with him at the moment getting him to take his naps in the afternoon. We will come into the room and find him in the corner silently reading or sitting on the window ledge behind the blind reading (because it is dark in the room).
Alex enjoys playing with his trains around his Island of Sodor, his tow truck, his play dough and his numerous puzzles. He is adjusting well to having a new brother and asks if Sam could play trains with him. He even has picked out some of his trains for Sam to play with.
1/28/2005: Alex loves to take pictures. If I give my my digital camera with the strap over his neck, he will point it and shoot remarkably good photos:
