The Charette Project
I have found that my new son Alexander enjoys my singing. After overhearing my version of
Hush, Little Baby, my wife downloaded and printed out the "real" lyrics for the song so that I won't confuse our son with my unpublished version:
And if that mockingbird won't sing,
Papa's gonna buy you diapers that won't cling.
I am a proud new father. The other day I was driving when I heard a commentary on NPR by Marion Winik on motherhood. I though of my wife
Elizabeth when I heard
this.
While I am staying home marveling at my new baby, I have started working my way through
Generative Programming: Methods, Tools, and Applications by Krzysztof Czarnecki and Ulrich Eisenecker. It is a very-advanced programming book which but I am interested by a new (to me) approach at programming in C++: using template instantiations to generate code. Take a look at it if you are into C++.
On Thursday, May 30, I became a father!
