A Railroad Day

Alexander loves trains! On August 21, 2004, Elizabeth, Alexander, and Michael Scherotter went on a Railroad Day. We took the Amtrak Train from Richmond to Sacramento. From the train station in Sacramento, we went to the California State Railroad Museum where Alexander saw many old locomotives and railroad cars in addition to a huge toy train collection. We then had lunch in Old Sacramento and took the train back home that afternoon.

We went to the San Francisco Zoo with Alex's grandparents, Joyce & Jerry Ott. They brought a delicious picnic and we had a fantastic time. I had fun using my new Panasonic FZ20 Digital Camera!

Santa Cruz and Monterey

We spent December 23-27 2004 with all of Liz's family in Santa Cruz. It was a great time where all of us were able to have fun and relax. I was able to exercise my creative side by added a few pages to my journal using photographs printed from my Epson PictureMate, watercolors, collage, and fountain pen.
