Change of Plans

We decided to do the construction in phases because of cost and Sam's impeding desire to start crawling. The first phase, which will start on Monday is the stairway replacement. We have hired Green Builders of Marin to do the stairway and they expect the work to take about three weeks. That will take much of the pressure off of us to make the house safe. We are also looking into replacing the crummy electric stove in our kitchen with a new gas one.
